You can use this to offset the height of the existing lid sets to account for differences in fan thickness and cooler height, and to decrease fan turbulence when using mesh. Instead of just changing the Z-height of the lids you can use this shim and adjust it's Z-height to get the perfect fit. You could also use this to adjust the height of the case to use a flat acrylic lid. Remember that you'll need longer screws when using this shim.
