Adjusted Anet A6 Top Spool Holder (Smaller width)

This 3-piece top mount spool holder requires a minimal amount of assembly and offers super stability. The version I'm sharing is a modification to my original top spool holder design, specifically intended for newer Anet A6/A8 printers that are equipped with smaller spool rods. It addresses the common issue of the shorter threaded rod provided with these newer printers. As long as the provided threaded rod measures 130mm or longer, this design should work seamlessly. The arms have been adjusted inward by 20mm compared to my original design, which is visible in the first picture. This modification ensures that any threaded rod of 130mm or longer can be accommodated with ease. Unlike my original top spool holder design, this one does require supports during printing. When loading and mounting your filament spool, remember to hang it on the lowest rung possible for maximum stability. This spool holder still accommodates my small "quick change" spool sprocket listed below.
