Adjustable Z Endstop for Prusa Mendel
thingiverse
Create a smooth and precise adjustable endstop for your Prusa Mendel with a 50mm long 10-24 threaded rod, three nuts, five washers, two 4mm rods (31mm each), two 4-40 x .25" screws, one 4-44 x .75" screw and nut, and a stiff spring fitting the rod diameter. Print out all required parts and drill the top adjustment mechanism to 4mm for a snug fit of rods. Lubricate the rods with vaseline for seamless movement. Assemble per the images, using 4-40 x .25" screws that thread directly into plastic. Note that this design offers 5mm vertical travel and has limit switch holes spaced 19mm apart; however, print quality might suffer if printed too quickly.
