Adjustable Z axis limit switch mount for TEVO Tarantula
thingiverse
New to 3D printing, I'm excited to share my solution for the Tevo Tarantula's adjustable Z end stop. As a first-time user of this printer, I encountered some challenges with the green inductive sensor (SN04), which failed to detect the bed surface consistently at the same spot. Additionally, adjusting the limit switch precisely proved to be difficult. After browsing Thingiverse for readily available parts to print, I came across two promising designs: one that required 4 screws and t-nuts to mount, but unfortunately, I didn't have these on hand. Undeterred, I decided to create my own design from scratch. My goal was to create a simple yet effective solution that would meet the following requirements: * Mounting requires only 2 M4 screws and a single t-nut, ensuring a secure fit without twisting. * The limit switch placement is fully adjustable, allowing for precise positioning. * Adjustment of the end stop utilizes an M3 screw, making it easy to fine-tune. I'm hoping that this design will prove helpful to fellow Tarantula users who are new to 3D printing.
