I designed a Z Axis Assembly for Vulcaman's excellent Vulcanus Max V1.1 at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1130016. This assembly is optimized for use with 12mm Smoothrods and LMK 12LUU Bearings. This design will also work seamlessly with the Max 30 and Max40 models. To print this assembly, follow these settings: Printer Settings: - Printer: Self Built Core XY - Rafts: No - Resolution: 0.2 mm - Infill: 25% Required Parts: - 2 x M3 14mm screws - 2 x M3 nuts - 1 x M4 45mm screw - 3 x M4 nuts - Miniature Micro Switches (available at http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-Pcs-1NO-1NC-SPDT-Momentary-Hinge-Lever-Arm-Miniature-Micro-Switches-AC-125V-/140982746983?hash=item20d339ff67:g:Yr8AAMXQBg5Rns6Q) Assembly Instructions: 1. Press the 4mm nuts into the LMK 12LUU bearing holder and secure them with the M4 45mm screw. 2. Align the micro switch cover with the micro switch and assemble it using the 3mm screws and nuts. 3. And that's it! Your Z Axis Assembly is now complete.
