An updated version of this picture was uploaded on approximately 11th August. The carriage, when mounted, should have the side that faced the print bed facing upwards towards the heat spreader, while the Russ Bot monogram should face down. This carriage is similar to Tommy C's but features a vertically printed bearing holder for added strength and includes adjustable ears for customizing belt width according to your rail size. The creator has only tested the first rendition so far, but an improved version was also included in the design file, which was printed simultaneously with the initial carriage. Testing of the "light" version is still ongoing, and users are encouraged to report their experiences or point out any issues that need improvement. A previous update on 25th January involved fixing a slicing issue with the light carriage. The creator has now been using the first version for an extended period, reporting stable performance but considering redesigning it to include a belt tensioner due to external tensioner wobble concerns. Required items for assembly are one side spacer, two side spacers, bearing holders from Thingiverse (link provided), a chosen carriage (the light one is untested), and two clamps with nut traps, along with two clamps without nut traps. Nuts must be inserted into the trap prior to attaching bearings with six M3 screws. The mounting plate-to-carriage holes are 100mm apart, with centers at 50mm and pairs being 32mm apart.
