Adjustable Violin & Fiddle Bridges
thingiverse
These experimental bridges are designed specifically for violins and fiddles, featuring adjustable feet that can be tailored to the unique shape of your instrument. The bridges are based on a standard 4/4 size violin bridge design, but offer a crucial distinction between the two types of instruments. While a traditional violin bridge has a more pronounced curve, making it easier to bow individual strings, a fiddle bridge features a slightly lower curve that enables effortless bowing of multiple strings at once. Each model includes both options, allowing users to choose the one that suits their playing style best. Additionally, two sets of adjustable feet are provided: one set is curved to fit the contours of an acoustic violin body (marked with "a"), while another flattened set caters specifically to electric violins (designated by "e").
