Adjustable Under-Desk Power Brick Mount - Screwless

<h3>What is this?</h3><p>This is a simple multi-part design to hold a power adapter of various sizes under the desk. This design is meant to use with adhesive tape, though you could easily remix to add screw holes if you'd rather that. I use these to mount my multiple monitor power bricks.</p><p>Print 1x of the mount file and 2x of the carriage file.</p><p>The max power brick dimensions supported are 172x82x62mm. If yours is larger, you could just scale everything in your slicer.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>UPDATE 3-4-2022:</strong></p><p><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/social/225556-mrbchambers">Mrbchambers</a> pointed out how much unnecessary filament this uses, so I've updated the files to use less. The carriage files use a little bit less, but the main mount now has optional cutout or ‘hollow’ versions that use 60% or 50% the amount of material as the original.</p><p><strong>UPDATE 8-20-2021:</strong></p><p>I've added a "vertical" carriage STL to the files. I noticed that one of my power adapters gave off some heat on one side, and it was actually loosening the adhesive through the printed parts. Turn it sideways and the problem seems to be solved.</p><p>If I have anymore issues, I'll say to hell with it and add some screw holes.</p><p>The dimensions are the same, just flipped on its side and extended a bit for sturdiness.</p><h5>Printing:</h5><p>Designed for printing, so no supports needed. Parts are already in printing orientation. I suggest 2-3 perimeters, 3 top, 2 bottom shells. 12-20% infill. PLA works just fine!</p><h5>Post-Print</h5><p>Attach double-sided adhesive tape to the flat side of the mount part and stick it wherever you want to place the brick. Slide one carriage part over each end of the power brick, then slide the whole thing into the mount.</p>
