Watch this video for more details and insight into the design process: https://youtu.be/eYADRNSjYlU. To set up, this adjustable tripod mounts perfectly with this phone holder: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1083987. You will need to print only three main components - the base and 3 of the legs. I used my Robo 3D to print them at 0.3mm layer height using high-quality PLA material. The printing time should be relatively short, with minimal need for any support material. I utilized #8 screws that are a half-inch long and three quarter inch by seven eighths inch extension springs for additional stability. These springs clip on to the legs securely holding the wedge in place while the screws and bolts firmly attach the leg to the base.
