Adjustable Timing Pulley & Hub
thingiverse
When trying to synchronize Z Axis motors, a precise set location can be challenging to achieve using a set screw on the lead screw. To overcome this difficulty, utilize this pulley and hub system: Firstly, fix the hub to the lead screw by embedding three M3 nuts and grub screws within it. Next, manually position the two Z axis motors to level the Y Carriage as it moves across the bed. Apply power to the motors to engage them in detent positions. Then, secure the adjustable pulley to the hub using three M4 bolts, which ensures accurate synchronization between the two motors.
