Adjustable Tablet Holder Stock DJI Phantom Controller Clamp V2
thingiverse
This is an update to my previous design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:512916. Review the old version for a deeper understanding of construction details. The original design, my first print on my printer, was marred by several flaws. A notable issue were the rounded corners, an habit acquired from work experience. This predisposed ABS parts to warping. Several dimensions have been revised to accommodate small tablets and large phones. The printing process has also been streamlined with additional holes, ensuring faster printing times and less clean-up with a drill bit. To build this design, you'll need two clamps and one slider. All rods and nuts used are #8-32 in size. Consider using washers as an added precaution for smoother movement. For optimal results, see the original design for construction details not included here. Note: Cranking down on your tablet is unnecessary; simply tightening the clamp with a snug fit will suffice. Be cautious not to apply too much pressure and risk damaging something. If you prefer a tighter grip, consider using thin foam inserts, like those found in shoe liners, measuring 1/8" thick, but it's not necessary for me.
