Adjustable Tablet Holder / Stand - 5 positions & M3 hardware

thingiverse

I decided to create a custom tablet holder for my friend's birthday. I found a design on Thingiverse that caught my eye:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:37283 I think the creator did an excellent job, but I wanted to put my own spin on it and make it uniquely mine for my friend. Here are the key changes I made: The base is now 20mm longer in the back and 4mm longer in the front, giving it added stability. The part that holds the tablet is about 3mm longer, accommodating cases up to 19mm or 3/4" thick. I also added four adjustable positions at 75, 60, 45, and 30 degrees, along with a circular indentation for resting at 12 degrees. The hardware is flush with the surface of the parts. To assemble it, I recommend using 3mm hardware and 12mm (or 14mm) bolts and lock nuts. A little thread lock can't hurt if the head fits snugly. I'd love to hear any comments or suggestions you may have. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Solidoodle Printer: Solidoodle 2 - Expert Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .2mm
