Adjustable Table Leg

Adjustable Table Leg

My work station required a sturdy support system to hold my impending Raise3D N2 securely in place. I chose to install a leg with adjustable height, which features a flange for securing the leg to the desk and a foot that screws into the bottom of the leg for adjusting the height. The leg is constructed from fir wood, measuring 2x2 inches (1.5"x1.5" to be exact), and the hardware package includes four #12x1" screws, one 1/4-20 bolt (estimated length: 1.25"), a 1/4-20 nyloc nut, a 1/4" fender washer, and a 0.789" long 1/4-20 E-Z Lok Threaded Insert. Print Settings Printer: Ord Bot Hadron Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2mm layers Infill: 100% Notes: Printed in PLA. ABS, PETG, or Nylon would likely be a better choice (stronger and less brittle) but the PLA version appears to function adequately. The next iteration should probably incorporate fins for retaining strength while using less plastic.
