Being able to adjust the Z-axis manually by a few cm is very handy. Print "support and carriage" is best adjusted with the laser. I propose you a circular coaxial AIR ASSIT (type nozzle paint gun) that works very well, simple assembly and disassembly. ATENTION without AIR big fire hazard!!!! the settings are different with air sitting. Do not hesitate to take the step towards the AIR ASSIT . Compressor, cylinder, inner tube, emergency wheel etc .... can matter because you will get a good result on your cuts.
