I loved Cabanon's design, but I decided to take it even further. I added the ability to use a rubber band instead of relying on a 3D printed spring, which will eventually wear out. I also made some significant improvements to beef up the design. To minimize supports needed, I made adjustments and extended the phone holder to accommodate bigger phones or those with larger cases. Now this cable can be printed at an impressive 0.2mm layer height. It's a bit bigger, but it's much more comfortable to game on for extended periods. For those interested, I also created a version that works with an Xbox One controller (also compatible with elite series 1 with paddles | I don't own a series 2 to test it on): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4193822 I was playing on my phone for around two hours and my wrists started hurting from tilting the screen towards me, so I added an angle to the phone holder to relieve my wrists. I will upload a pic of the print tomorrow but wanted to get the file out to everyone. Also, Pro Tip: If you print off the long version of the top part, you can put a thicker rubber band across it to give it a boost in grip on your phone. (again, pic tomorrow) I had a couple people reach out with requests. I made some changes to accommodate them: I extended the design by 5 mm for those with beefy cases, brought the rubber band hooks in a bit so it looks cleaner and even when installed, increased the size of the audio and USB-C Jack openings, and added a long version of the top clip so that you can center your phone without it hitting the volume or power buttons (at least for the Pixel 3XL).
