Adjustable Slope Scope Mount
prusaprinters
This is a scope mount designed for firing projectiles with a lot of drop over distance (specifically foam darts). It was designed around a 30mm diameter scope, but the open top design should accommodate almost any size scope (not tested).Mounts to standard picatinny rail using M5 hardware, either socket heads or hex heads with a 3D printed knob if you prefer tool-less adjustment. Hardware: (2) M5 bolts - either 30-35mm socket head or 40mm hex head if using the knobs (optional)(1) M5 bolt - either 20-25mm socket head or 30mm hex head if using the knobs (optional)(3) M5 nuts(2) 8" zip ties - I used these reusable ones from AmazonRubber sheet/craft foam - I used some plumbers gasket rubber like this one, but any grippy sheet material should work, preferably 1-2mm (or 1/16") thick Assembly: 1 - Insert front support into main body. Secure with M5 nut and the shorter of the three bolts. Feed the hex head bolt through the printed knob if you're using one. 2 - Cut rubber sheet into strips and glue them onto the front and rear scope supports. 3 - Line up both side clamp pieces with the main body and secure with M5 nuts and bolts. 4 - Set scope on top and feed zip ties through the holes. Tighten zip ties and feed loose ends back through the holes for a cleaner look. 5 - Mount the scope to your blaster and set desired slope.
