adjustable sliding spoolholder simple print (no bolts or nuts needed)
thingiverse
I wanted to replace the small original spoolholder from Two trees by a simple and easy design. On the other hand I also wanted to have a smooth function by using bearings and no complicated bolts and nuts connections. The spoolholder fits inside with the spool resting on the bearings. The bearings are just pushed on the printed holders. The endpart is movable and has a range of ± 30mm up to 85mm wide. which should fit most spools. The inside Ø of your spool should be minimum 40mm to fit the holder into. NOTE: I used a 0.2mm gap as spacing between holder and slider. It works but you could still reduce it if you want to. Depends on your needs and printer settings. USED BEARINGS: 6000 C - 2 HRS (Ø10 inside / Ø26 outside / 8mm thickness)
