This shelf adapter has a sturdy platform that allows the fan to sit securely and can be adjusted as needed - all it takes is a little grease to prevent the area from getting glued. The platform was designed specifically for the fan in question, so you might need to create a new base part if your fan doesn't fit perfectly. I've also included an adjustable shelf hook I created as a starting point for your own projects; I printed it both horizontally and vertically, and both versions fit the shelving brackets without any modifications.
