Adjustable R/C Car Stand
thingiverse
I designed a custom r/c stand that adapts to many cars and trucks. It can rotate 360 degrees and I based its design on the traxxas rustler, but it will fit other applications too. I'll be designing bolt-on adapters soon, so let me know if you print this and how well it works for your vehicle. I printed this stand using pla at 200c for the extruder and 50c for the bed. A brim is optional. To attach the sides, I used m3x17 mm bolts and m3 nuts. The holes are 4mm, but I found that using m3 hardware gives more adjustability. You'll notice the top is slightly offset to evenly distribute weight from the motor and electronics in the back of the r/c vehicle. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 30 Notes: The print time for this stand is 1 hour 17 minutes for the top, 1 hour 50 minutes for the bottom, and 25 minutes for both sides if printed together.
