Adjustable Projector Mount for Optoma GT1080
thingiverse
The projector has a 3-point adjustable mount for the Optoma GT1080. http://www.optomausa.com/projectorproduct/gt1080 The projector throws such a short distance that it is perfect for setting on my bed and watching movies on the wall. However, the projector needs to be elevated more to allow it to get sufficient cooling, and the leveling needs more adjustability to stay level on a squishy mattress. In addition to the printed parts, you will need 3 M4 x ~16mm cap screws, 3 5/16-18 x 1.25" hex head screws, 3 5/16-18 nuts, a soldering iron. To assemble the feet, press the hex head into the foot and tap it in with a hammer. To assemble the nuts to the base, press the nuts into the hex holes with a soldering iron on high heat. It will melt the plastic a bit and seat into the hole. Don't burn yourself, breathe the fumes, or set your house on fire. Print Settings Printer: Prusa i3 MK2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .15mm Infill: 20% Notes: Prusa i3 MK2's default settings on 0.15mm work great with no supports.
