Adjustable Printer Leg and Foot
thingiverse
This is a robust, adjustable foot that I engineered specifically for leveling my Vulcanus Max V1.1 printer. I designed this foot for use with 20mm extrusions. Non-Commercial License: You do not have permission to print and sell this design, either as a whole or in individual components. You are free to print and test this item for your personal use. Print Settings: Printer: Self-Built Core XY Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 25% Notes: PLA Parts Needed: For each foot, you will need: 1x M5 x45mm bolt (You can substitute an M5 x35mm bolt if you prefer not to tap the bottom of the extrusion.) 2x M5 x10 socket head cap screws 5x M5 nuts Instructions: Press a 5mm nut into the base leg. Insert another 5mm nut into the center of the base leg. Secure a 5mm nut onto the 45mm bolt and tighten it to the bolt head. (Refer to the image.) Insert the bolt head and nut into the foot. File two corners of two 5mm nuts (see image) and slide them into the slots of the extrusions. Attach the leg to the bottom of the machine using 5mm socket head cap screws. Thread the foot and bolt into the leg. I tapped the vertical extrusion with a 5mm tap, allowing the 45mm bolt to thread in for added strength due to my heavy printer. You can substitute an M35mm bolt if you prefer not to tap the extrusion. Once complete, your foot is ready for use.
