This is a perfect case for a versatile power supply system. I use it to energize the Hot Wheels Booster Motors. By soldering wires directly to the positive and negative battery terminals in the booster, I bypass the batteries entirely. Set the power source to 5 volts and regulate it with the board below. This setup allows you to easily overclock or slow down the motor as needed.
