23 July 2020 Redesigned the body section, incorporating a spring into the design. This spring now effectively eliminates all backlashes. Utilized an old spare bed spring that had been lying around for some time. The revised body is labeled "v2". ==================== Adjustable Optical Z Endstop for Creality Ender 3. Required Components: - 2 M3 Threaded Inserts - 2 M3 Screws - 1 M4 Bolt - 2 M4 Nuts - Additional nuts and bolts to attach the endstop to the printer's frame. Any suitable combination can be used (I employed two M4 nuts and bolts). Attach the endstop to the moving part using threaded inserts and M3 screws. Secure an M4 nut at the corresponding cutout at the bottom of the moving part, then screw in the M4 bolt. Pause the print job for the wheel (use a post-processing script in Cura or a similar approach in your slicer) and insert the M4 nut into it.
