Single-axis stepper motor upgrade designed for use on the Folgertech FT-5 printer and other similar machines. Fully adjustable motor position allows for precise belt tensioning by simply loosening the stepper mounting screws. Clocking can also be adjusted by rotating the mounting plate to the desired setting. To install this unit, a 3-inch hole must be cut into the base plate using a 3-inch hole saw. Once installed, place the unit in the newly created hole and it will automatically center itself with its guide ring. Secure the unit firmly in place using six #6x1/2" pan head wood screws. This upgrade is intended for use with a dual GT2 belt pulley system.
