Adjustable Mold Box Forms

Adjustable Mold Box Forms

This simple hack is incredibly useful if you're working with resin or plaster molds. I've been searching for a straightforward solution to make mold boxes on short notice, and this one delivers. Foam core works great, but it can be quite pricey and usually gets destroyed during demolding. I stumbled upon some plexiglass adjustable forms online that looked promising, but they were out of my budget at $40 each. So, I came up with these 3D printable molds that do the same thing. Printing them costs under $3, and you can reuse them multiple times. You can print them at 100% or scale them up and down to suit your needs. I printed several by scaling only the horizontal axis up and down to achieve different heights for larger and smaller casts. I'm happy to share this hack with you, hoping it will be useful in your own projects.
