Adjustable Micro Cam Mount
thingiverse
IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS DESIGN IS FOR THE VERY OLD, VERY JUNKY BANGGOOD MICRO CAMERAS. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH THE FOXEER/RUNCAM MICROS USED IN THE MODERN FPV WORLD. I'M ONLY LEAVING THE THING UP IN THE EVENT THAT SOMEONE HAS USE FOR IT DOWN THE LINE ON A RETRO BUILD, OR JUST WANTS TO MAKE USE OF THE PARTS THEY'VE GOT LYING AROUND TO GET SOMETHING IN THE AIR. I RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS CAMERA, AND SUBSEQUENTLY UTILIZING THIS MOUNT, IF YOU CAN. These models were created back in my earlier days of 3D printing, done incorrectly in Autodesk Maya. They will work, if you can slice them correctly. The old Makerbot slicer did the trick for me way back when, but something like Simplify 3D doesn't like the poorly modeled geometries. It's a hack job, but if you can slice it and need to use this old micro camera (not foxeer/runcam!), it will do the trick well, particularly the fixed variant. I've been working alongside Lazd testing out various camera mounting solutions for these little Micro FPV cameras, purpose designed for the Falcon 130. Some of the designs have been driven by a desire for something static while others have been seeking an adjustable solution that works for everyone in something of a "one size fits all" solution. People have been pinging me and Lazd left and right trying to get their hands on these mounts, as they've seen us running them, and even though we're still working towards a final solution I figured there was some value to the community to throwing these up there as they currently stand, as something of work in progress models. They certainly do work, but we're actively seeking a more compact, durable, and lighter solution. So on that note, be sure to check in for updates as I'll revise this as applicable! Big thanks to M8ker for the original design of the camera mount itself. I essentially grabbed that guy, remodeled a very similar structure around it, and appended it to the various mounting solutions.
