Create a custom-designed adjustable LED lamp for your Mendel by using an LED module with three LEDs (Jaycar Part Number ZD0473, $3 each). The lamp bolts onto an 8mm bar and features adjustable elbows. Print the necessary parts, which include part1 to bolt onto the bar, part2 for additional support, and part3 that holds the LED module. Assemble the parts with M4x20 bolts, nyloc nuts, and washers, ensuring consistent friction for easy adjustment. Finally, wire the LED module and connect it to 12V power for increased illumination on your Mendel.
