Adjustable Makerbot endstop flag mounts
thingiverse
These tiny plastic parts enable mounting and adjustment of sheet metal endstop flags as needed. To install, gather M2 bolts (20mm and 10mm), nuts, washers, and sheet metal. Utilize a 2mm drill bit for cleaning holes and appropriate driver tools. Print the components using ABS due to PLA's potential brittleness. Clean parts with a knife and drill. Insert the M2 nut into the part, followed by the M2x20 bolt. Cut sheet metal flag strip and drill a 2mm hole for mounting. Secure flag with an M2x10 bolt. X/Y mounts simply press in place, while Z mount uses two more M2x10 bolts and nuts with washers. Before homing your bot, ensure proper flag function and endstop LED lighting. Fine-tune the flags using M2x20 bolts for optimal length.
