This Hinge/Mount Lets You Attach a Standard Light Bulb Pendant to Any Common and Cheap Light Stand Spigot. This Is Probably the Cheapest Way to Build Basic Studio Lighting That's Both Functional and Effective. To Get Started, Simply Print Mine Using PLA, Then Follow These Easy Steps: First, I Printed Mine with No Supports Necessary, With Walls Around 2mm Thick and 0-50% Infill. You Can Also Try Printing with No Infill at All, But Make Sure Your Walls Are Strong Enough to Hold the Weight. Next, Use Cheap £10 Ebay Light Stands Like These: Http://Www.Ebay.Co.Uk/Itm/281404602219 And Lightbulb Holders Like This: Http://Www.Ebay.Co.Uk/Itm/350812871831. To Attach the Hinge/Mount to the Light Stand, Simply Unscrew the Collar and Push It Through the Mount Ring, Then Tighten it Up. For the Cable Connection, I Used This Amazing Value Option from a UK Retailer: Http://Www.Screwfix.Com/P/Time-Round-Flexible-Cable-2182Y-2-Core-0-75Mm-X-50M-White/31033. The Threaded Rod Is 6mm (M6), So You Can Either Use a Cut Down Threaded Rod or a 60mm+Screw and Nut Combo. The Holes Are 6.2mm Wide, Leaving Some Room for Shrinkage During Printing. You Also Have an Extra 6mm Hole That You Can Use to Attach Something Else, Or Mount the Light Bulb Holder Directly to the Spigot Mount Using It. Additionally, There's a Clip for a Cable - Just Be Prepared to Make Some Adjustments to Fit Your Cable.
