Adjustable leveling wedge (jack wedge)

Adjustable leveling wedge (jack wedge)

I built this leveling wedge as a tool in my workshop/garage because I needed something to level a large metal frame while welding. I created two versions: one with a flat bottom/top, and another with a tripod base and a spherical top for stability on uneven surfaces. These should help you level any surface. The only size available is 4 inches high x 4 inches wide x 7 inches long, but it's easy to modify the design using the parametric Inventor model I provided. Just let me know what size you need, and I'll add it to this collection. I designed the wedge to use an M6 threaded rod and nut. The nut is locked in place on one side, and I recommend using a nylon insert lock nut to prevent the rod from spinning loose. On the other side, a washer and wing nut provide extra security.
