This print was meant to be split into 6 parts, each designed to support a table accessory intended for use with a sewing machine. I engineered the leg to adjust easily using a comfortable fingerscrew and aimed for an approximate height of 8 cm, allowing for adjustments in both directions. I am confident that correct printer settings will produce the desired results, but my own printer has been giving me trouble, taking five days to yield somewhat acceptable outcomes. The M8 threads ultimately resembled M6, while the outer thread proved uncooperative. I print using Matter Control and suspect a bug within slic3r, as it inadvertently hollows areas where solidification is preferred. To secure the part to the table, I designed a polycarbonate attachment point that will be bonded in place, while a rubber component at the opposite end is intended for frictional engagement against the table. My V2 fixed leg redesign has addressed my issues, and as the image demonstrates, it produced an excellent outcome.
