Adjustable Laser Cutter Focus Guage

This is an adjustable gauge I built specifically to fine-tune my Boss 100 watt laser cutter/engraver. The insert can be moved up or down, providing precise control over focus adjustments. When fully inserted with the thin end facing upwards, the laser focuses at a distance of 2 inches, while positioning it with the broad side facing up yields a focus point at 1 1/2 inches. I plan to add another insert section in the future, featuring a threaded hole for a set screw that will enable even more precise adjustments. The gauge's sturdy base makes it a superior tool compared to the standard one included with my laser cutter. Print Settings: Printer: Qidi Tech 1 Resolution: Medium Infill: 60% Notes: Printed in PLA, I designed this gauge for a snug fit, which required some needle filing and sanding to ensure smooth movement while maintaining a secure hold on the insert.
