Adjustable Laptop Stand [WIP]
thingiverse
This is a project that's really close to my heart. It's an adjustable laptop stand that can be made as flat as possible when closed and adjusted in height so you can position your laptop at the angle you prefer. I'm still working on it, but it's usable right now and I'd love to hear your thoughts on how to improve it! This project consists of 5 separate pieces: - The bottom piece: This is where everything starts. It attaches to the laptop and holds all the adjustable parts in place. There are some grooves for adjusting the height and 4 small holes where it touches the laptop, allowing you to print custom feet like TPU to increase grip on your PC (the black part in the photo); - The feet: These are just simple cylinders that attach to the bottom piece. If you want them, you'll need to print 4 of them. Unfortunately, I don't have the necessary materials for printing the feet, so they're missing from the photos; - The adjustable pieces: These are two separate parts that fit together seamlessly. They snap into each other, making it easy to move them around without any issues. One piece snaps onto the bottom part while the other fits into the grooves to adjust the height (the green parts in the photos); - The top piece: This is a small foot that attaches to the adjustable pieces, providing extra stability for your laptop when you're typing. If you want to use this stand properly, you'll need to print two of these feet and attach them on either side. I'd love to hear what you think about my project! If you decide to print one yourself, please let me know how it turns out. And if you have a chance, check out some of the other projects I've been working on - I'm still learning the ropes, but I've got plenty of ideas lined up and they'll be uploaded soon!
