Through each piece flows a taut cable that enables the lamp to adjust to various positions with ease. To complete your project, you'll also require a cable with switch and plug kit, an E27 bulb socket, steel cable, tensioner, and cable locks - I used Ikea's cable drapery locks with great success. The base of the lamp has ample space for two 1 kg weight lifting disks, which I sourced from Decathlon. Each disk measures 140mm in exterior diameter, features a 28mm inner hole, and stands 15mm thick.
