This 3D model was initially designed using SketchUp 13 and then converted into various 3D formats, with the original file being a .skp. The accompanying 3DS Max scene is based on 3DS Max 2016, rendered via Vray 3.00. To explore lighting effects in your modern living space, consider the Oxford lamp, a black metal projector that enables customizable illumination. Alternatively, check out the Hyde Park lamppost. The Oxford lamp measures H 40 x W 30 x D 32 cm and is available at maisonsdumonde.com for €89. It has a polygon count of 732. Textures can be extracted from the .skp file using SketchUp, C4D, 3DS Max, or Rhinoceros 3D (all trial versions suffice). For SketchUp, export a 2D image under File/Export/2D Graphic - drop-down options. In C4D, the textures will be automatically generated in a folder next to the .skp file upon import. With 3DS Max, textures are stored in the ..3dsMaxsceneassetsimages directory or can be exported as an FBX file with embedded media. Lastly, Rhino3D users should open the material editor, select a material with a texture, click on the texture name, and then click the three-dot button to access all textures in the ..AppDataLocalTempembedded_files directory; these can be copied and pasted to a preferred location.
