<b>Customizable Replacement Insert for Adjustable Schlage Bird-Feeder Style Striker Plate.</b> Fits Schlage part number 10-058. Original parts are notoriously prone to breakage when over-tightened, and regular use takes its toll as time goes on. I designed this replacement insert after being unable to find the plastic component sold separately and unwilling to spend $7 per striker plate assembly. This part meets original manufacturer dimensions with a subtle modification to the taper and hole size for the original screw. This adjustment prevents splitting that often occurs in the original part when over-tightened. I printed this replacement insert in Carbon Fiber reinforced PLA, which has proven to be durable so far. Printing in Nylon would have been ideal, but I don't own a printer capable of doing so.
