We treated ourselves to a bean-to-cup machine this Christmas. Overly cautious health and safety concerns or perhaps a plan to sell an accessory later or promote higher-end machines seem to have resulted in a very short "wand" for frothing and heating milk, forcing you to stand and hold your milk jug while waiting. Cue the 3D printer! We're looking at three screws that provide an adjustable height range of between 60mm and 160mm on a platform where the top screw is directly attached. Print Settings: * The platform was printed in ABS for added heat resistance, as hot milk will develop over time. * The screws were designed to be printed with a 1mm extrusion width using spiral vase mode and zero top and bottom layers.
