Adjustable Height Shooting Rest

Adjustable Height Shooting Rest

thingiverse

This is my first upload. It is all designed to be printed with no supports, rafts, brims or other extraneous structures. I have only printed it in PLA on a Prusa MK3S+. I printed it with 5 perimeters and 10% gyroid infill, stock .4mm nozzle, and .2mm layer height. There are four parts of this shooting rest. The base (tripod) is one piece and should be printed upside-down (legs pointing up). No supports are needed. The lock ring is self evident. The top should be printed with the threaded part sticking up and the flat "face" facing down. You will need two of the "dovetails". They should be printed with the broad flat rectangular side down. The dovetails just get slide onto the sides of the top and glued in place. The photo is of an older version with a single-piece top that was hard to get to print well and required lots of support material.
