Adjustable headrest mount for wheelchairs with a 22.5mm (7/8ths inch) top round bar
thingiverse
This clamp mount was designed to fit a wheelchair with a 22.5 (7/8") top round bar and mount a “Lorell Hi-back Chair Mesh Headrest”. I printed in PETG with 3 solid walls and 30% infill. I used 1/4" bolts with lock nuts. On the front piece lock nuts were pressed into the bottom holes with 1.5" long 1/4 bolts on the top. Lock nuts were pressed into the knobs as well. I used a 3" C clamp to press the nuts into place. The bolts heads will pull into place as tightened. I drilled the holes in the headrest out to 5/16" to make assembly easier. Shorter 1/4" screws would look better. I used what I had on hand. The 1/4" bolts through the headrest are 2" long. I printed without supports with the visible faces down. I cleaned up the nut holes that were printed without support. You might prefer to add supports for those areas. Parts list; 1 Back 1 Front 2 knobs 2 1/4 x 2 bolts 2 1/4 x 1.5 bolts 4 1/4 lock nuts or nuts with lock washers
