Adjustable Guitar Capo
thingiverse
This is my second iteration of an adjustable capo that fits any guitar neck size perfectly. The capo I originally made wouldn't fit two extreme sizes - a 12 string acoustic and a telecaster - so I created this one instead. It's incredibly strong, crafted from durable PLA. Hardware: 2x M8 threaded rod cut to length 6x M8 Washers 2x M8 Wingnut 2x M8 Bolt (plus 2 more if you use threaded rod) Print Settings: Printer: LulzBot TAZ 5 Rafts: No support structures needed Supports: None required Resolution: Print at a precision of 0.1-0.38 mm Infill: Set the infill density to 20% -30% Notes: I printed this in PLA with a layer height of 0.38 mm to save time initially, but I strongly recommend going smaller for optimal results - try 0.2mm for smooth curves. To avoid support material, flip the bottom piece by rotating it 180 degrees along either axis X or Y.
