Adjustable GT2 Belt Tensioner
thingiverse
Belt tensioner for GT2 belts. Sturdy and dependable, it is based on the excellent design of ThomasKTN Belt shortener for Ultimaker, featuring a secure clip to lock the main part and press the belt firmly in place. Engineered with precision, it utilizes a sturdy DIN912 M3x35 bolt and one robust M3 nut. Simply print two copies of each piece, attach the screw, insert the belt, and then secure it tightly using the clip. For added versatility, I have included the .skp file of the clip, allowing you to make subtle adjustments as needed, tailored specifically to your printed part's unique requirements. Important Update: I have added an inverted version of the part, with teeth on the opposite side, making it compatible with a wide range of printer housings. Also worth noting is the GT2-10mm belt body version (currently in testing phase). Print Settings Rafts: None selected Supports: No need for extra support Resolution: Fine detail at .2mm layer thickness Infill: 100% solid fill to maximize strength
