The Adjustable Graphing Stencil tool can be used to quickly sketch out graphs of different sizes for virtual students who do not have access to a printer. I thought of this design as I am currently only in school infrequently, and on virtual days I found myself struggling to keep up with math notes and assignments due to not being able to print the worksheets being sent in, specifically the graphs. This tool aims to solve that issue for both myself and potentially for other students in similar situations to my own. 1. An issue I came up against was the mechanism of making my axis move both vertically and horizontally. My initial sketch had an oversimplified design that ultimately did not work as I had thought it would, and therefore I had to completely overhaul and design a new method of moving vertically and horizontally. 2. If I could redesign this again, I might've changed the design to be easier to understand. Currently, the x-axis needs to be lowered onto the y-axis and then needs to be moved vertically (if one desires a vertical shift) before it can be moved horizontally. This is hardly rocket science, but it is still more convoluted than I initially would've liked. 3. 3D printing would help strengthen my design by allowing it to be more than a design, and to actually be a physical, usable tool.
