After investing hundreds of hours printing on a replica Ultimaker glass plate, it started to chip off, prompting me to purchase the genuine article from ultimate3dprintingstore.com. The original glass arrived in just two days, well-packaged and boasting straight angles and a rectangular shape unlike its clone counterpart. However, I soon discovered that this authentic glass measured about 1 mm wider and longer than its predecessor. Rather than fabricating an entirely new set of glass holders for the particular glass, I opted to create adjustable ones. This design will not be compatible with the original K8400 glass plate, as mentioned in previous comments regarding the Ultimaker glass's inability to fit seamlessly into the K8400 frame unless upgraded to CoreXY and motors relocated (refer to other related posts).
