Adjustable Geeetech i3 Pro B MK8 Fanduct with Open Side

thingiverse

The position of this adjustable fanduct can be set in all three axes, allowing you to mount it without having to change its height or orientation when mounting the hotend. It features an open side for improved viewing through the webcam. This fanduct is designed specifically for a radial fan with an air outlet that measures 17 x 13mm internally. While not an expert on airflow, I believe the air streams will meet approximately 8mm below the bottom of the fanduct when blowing through it with an e-cigarette. This design allows you to mount it slightly higher, resulting in less mess from print-destroying filament getting stuck on it. The model can be printed without supports if your printer and slicer are properly tuned for small bridges. The model already includes custom supports in the air holes that need to be broken out after printing. Two M3 screws are recommended for connecting the bracket and fanduct, although one M3 screw may suffice. A Fusion 360 file is available for any necessary modifications. You can print this design using PLA, as long as each side has an equal distance from the hotend. If a side touches the hotend, it will melt.
