Adjustable front facing Z limit switch mod for Tevo Tarantula
thingiverse
This convenient mod simplifies adjusting the heights of the Z limit switch when the printer is easily accessible from the front side, as seen when it's stored in an enclosure. Two separate components need to be printed, one requiring attachment directly to the X axis using existing screws and the other needing to be secured to the outer frame with additional screws and T-nuts. When the extruder is mounted on the same side of the frame, as shown in the image, be mindful that the screw holder won't hit it when the X axis is raised. NOTE: I removed the metal part of the limit switch for a cleaner switching point, but it was pointed out that an overshoot of the Z axis could potentially damage the micro-switch, and nonetheless, the design works fine with the metal part in place.
