Adjustable Ear Saver

Adjustable Ear Saver

I created an ear saver design which allows you to attach both halves together using a 3/16" cord and adjust its length. If you don't have a 3/16" cord, you can use a medium-sized elastic hair band instead by looping it onto itself as shown in the picture. Though not adjustable, the hair band has enough stretch to make up for it. The closed loop design of the mask's cord lets up to 1/8" cord pass through while keeping its ability to prevent the mask's cords from disconnecting from the ear saver. To fight against hair snags, the loops are designed with a gentle slope that allows hair to pass back out easily, making it hard to get caught in them (I have long hair and tried many times to get my hair stuck). Also, if your mask has cords larger than 1/8", you can trim the loop with scissors to create a large enough opening for your mask's cords. Just make sure to keep it tight enough to hold the cord inside.
