Adjustable Doorway Clamp for Baby Swing
thingiverse
My little girl loves to swing around. Not rock or sit still, she's a swinging enthusiast! Using her car seat and the arm pendulum method was getting tiresome so I created this clamp to fit on top (and sides) of an indoor doorway threshold. Sizing: Measure the height of your door's perimeter panel and choose the model with at least that long of a grip. Check out the pictures to see how to adjust it down to size using screws. This clamp is incredibly strong - I could hang my body weight on it! We'll be using it as she grows into a toddler-sized swing. I can envision this being used as a workout tool too. Required Non-Printed Parts: (20ft) 1/4" Nylon Rope: http://amzn.to/2edkt2Q (4X) Strong Carabiner D-Hook: http://amzn.to/2e3oEuE (2X) 5" Long 1/4"-20 hex bolt (bag) 1/4"-20 hex nuts Refer to photos for a secure knot. Print Settings Notes: Printed with 8 perimeters (.4mm nozzle), 20% infill, in PLA. This thing is ridiculously strong - just ensure your door threshold is secure!
