Adjustable Doorway Clamp for Baby Swing
myminifactory
My baby girl can't get enough of swinging. She loves the motion, not just sitting still or rocking gently, but full-on swinging. Using her car seat and an arm swing method was getting old fast, so I designed this clamp to fit snugly on top (and sides) of an indoor doorway threshold. Sizing: Measure the height of your door's perimeter panel carefully and choose a model with at least that long of a grip. Check out the pictures to see how to use screws to adjust it down to fit your doorway perfectly. This clamp is incredibly strong, able to hold my body weight easily. We'll be using it as she grows into a toddler-sized swing. I can see this being used as a workout tool too! (I printed it in high-quality PLA with 8 perimeters and 20% infill.) Required Non-Printed Parts: (20ft) 1/4" Nylon Rope: http://amzn.to/2edkt2Q (4X) Strong Carabiner D-Hook: http://amzn.to/2e3oEuE (2X) 5" Long 1/4"-20 hex bolt (bag) 1/4"-20 hex nuts Refer to the photos for a special secure knot.
