Adjustable Doorway Clamp for Baby Swing
pinshape
My baby girl loves to swing. She can't sit still or rock, she's a swinging enthusiast. Using her car seat and arm pendulum method was getting old so I designed this clamp to fit snugly on top of an indoor doorway threshold. Sizing: Measure the height of the perimeter panel (moulding) on your door and pick the model with at least that length of grip. Check out the pictures to see how to use screws to adjust down to the size of your doorway. The clamp is incredibly strong, I was able to hang my body weight from it without any issue. We'll be using it as she grows into a toddler size swing. This could also make for a great workout tool. (I printed it in high quality PLA with 8 perimeters and 20% infill.) Required Non-Printed Parts: (20ft) 1/4" Nylon Rope: http://amzn.to/2edkt2Q (4X) Strong Carabiner D-Hook: http://amzn.to/2e3oEuE (2X) 5" Long 1/4"-20 hex bolt (bag) 1/4"-20 hex nuts Check out the photos for a secure knot that keeps everything in place.
