Adjustable Damping Feet
thingiverse
The damping truly shines when you combine both the damping feet and a foam pad, like one found in a tarantula shipping box, underneath it. This setup effectively minimizes vibrations transmitted to the base. To account for the printer's uneven weight distribution, with the spool side being heavier, I've added an adjustable feature to the damping feet. This allows you to tailor the length of each foot to compensate for the printer's specific needs, ensuring both the plastic spring and foam are properly aligned. Printing four units enables you to place the printer flat on any damping material you choose. To cater to different users' needs, I've created two sizes: a regular size matching the standard Tarantula feet and a smaller version designed specifically for the back left angle where the filament spool holder resides. This ensures the original spool holder fits comfortably. These feet work exceptionally well with the Tevo Tarantula Pro but should fit any 2020-made machine, including the Ender3 or similar models, due to their versatile design.
